If one more politician, activist, media wallah, or dinner party guest uses the term “community” again, my very individualistic brain’s going to explode. To label say, 5 or even millions of unique people as simply the “gay community” is so off base as to be out where the busses don’t run.

Placing a truly diverse group into one coherent-sounding lump is often done because it’s easy and non-thinking, and your average Joe and Josephine does it because the media have taught them to. Repeat a phrase often enough and it’s like Palmolive for the masses, as in “you’re soaking in it”.

While I accept that the media uses the word “community” as a lazy shorthand to talk about complex issues without doing the hard work of highlighting more internal debates, I also know that they’ve basically morphed into activists for every leftist and Marxist cause.

That term is used for a reason. There’s an agenda to it. Reduce the “community” they are talking about to a single, faceless mass of humans who all agree on the same values and beliefs. Like hell.

For example, ALL gay people like PRIDE parades. Or being described as queer. Or LGBTQIA+. I’m here to tell you the exact opposite. I loathe all of those things. If I see one more gyrating, leather clad, thrusty man on a pink float I’m going to get my secateurs sharpened. One more male pervert wearing a dress and mincing into a female toilet and I’m going to call in a favour to my local gang bros. They know what a woman is.

Watching ratepayer’s money being spent on PRIDE flags during PRIDE month or TRANS flags during TRANS month has always created for me high dental bills due to teeth grinding. Mind you, at least my version of grinding is a private matter, as it bloody well should be.

Anyway, increasingly I’m convinced that these endless, ongoing celebratory and masturbatory shenanigans should be called PERVERT month.

And it seems, at least in America right now, that the gloss is coming off these distinctly child-unfriendly events. Get your violin out.

Of course, New Zealand is not far behind. Everybody’s reaching the end of their tether – and I don’t mean the leash used when parading a furry around on all fours.

Anyone – gay or straight – with half a brain knows that PRIDE is almost done. Why? Because they’ve done it to themselves. They are not family-friendly or a celebration of anything other than basic indecency. And, just like drag queens in libraries, they are strategically designed to appeal to the kids. And any parent that believes otherwise, and happily and possibly naively takes them along to watch, is complicit in the grooming.

Local government certainly isn’t talking about the fact that those flags they continuously fly in our faces are being destroyed at an alarming rate by the citizenry. They have to replace them on high rotate. The bigger question is why are they even involved in ‘rainbow’ anything?

Let me assure you that the sweet spot for being gay was around 25 years ago. That was a time when we just ‘were’. Who we slept with was not our identity, and we were judged far more on our character. As it should it be. Why should I be ‘proud’ and get a whole month dedicated to my sexuality? Why should anyone?

It is all so reductive, and so self-obsessed and, weirdly, our straight liberal and very annoying “allies” are becoming the most activist about all of it. I say to them mind your own business. Go and save Palestine or Benjamin Doyle or something.

And ever since the trans cult started using small ‘c’ conservative gay people – and there are heaps of us – we have been paying for the deviancy that appears to come pre-loaded with it. Calling us a “community” means we are constantly paying the price for their fetishistic behaviour.

The latest lobby group aiming to add themselves to the alphabet soup are MAPs, which means THE END. We’ll all – that is the made-up “the rainbow community” – be the first up against the wall come the Revolution. Because we are tainted by any association with those sickos.

I was gonna’ leave you with a random parade video, among literally thousands of them on YouTube, of the PRIDE “community” being distinctly anti-community, anti-family and anti-sanity, and all with children watching on. Yuck.

But then I thought “nup”. Why ruin both our days?
