We are looking for a Website Manager to join our team. As a Website Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and improvement of our website. Your expertise in website administration and content management will ensure an optimal online presence, enhancing user experience and supporting our mission of providing balanced and objective news coverage.

This is an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend to a longer contract.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the website is up-to-date, functioning smoothly, and free from technical issues. Regularly check for and resolve any bugs or performance issues.
  • Oversee the upload, update, and organization of website content, ensuring consistency and alignment with RCR’s brand voice and mission.
  • Continuously improve the website’s usability and user experience, making navigation intuitive and content easily accessible.
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance the website’s visibility and search engine ranking, driving organic traffic.
  • Monitor website traffic and performance using analytics tools. Generate reports and provide insights to inform content and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure the website’s security, implementing measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, designers, and content creators to align website updates with overall marketing and editorial strategies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website-related issues.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Website Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in website management platforms (e.g., WordPress), HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of JavaScript and PHP.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.


The Ideal Candidate Will Preferably Have:

  • Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and content strategy.
