Spokeswoman & Founder of the Safe Food Campaign and food safety advocate Alison White, took on NZ ‘Big Agriculture' in her battle against toxic pesticides and caught up with Paul to discuss her petition. Her petition to ban chlorpyrifos has gained serious traction recently when New Zealand's Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) finally acknowledged the chemical's risks outweighed its benefits pushing officials toward a potential nationwide ban.
The ban would mean chlorpyrifos can no longer be imported, manufactured or used in New Zealand. Submissions close at 11:59 pm on 12 February 2025
