Michael Reddell is an independent economic commentator who was formerly a senior macroeconomic adviser and manager at the Reserve Bank and the Treasury. Michael spent 25 years or so on the (equivalent of the) OCR Advisory Group to the Governor, and many years on the Bank’s key internal financial regulation policy committee. Michael joins Paul to discuss the Reserve Bank’s ORC Announcement made on the 28th of February 2024 and what this will mean for New Zealanders.
