The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced graphic designer to join the RCR team to assist with our online strategic direction and long-term content goals. The Graphic Designer will report to the Head of Marketing. This role is tasked with producing unique and engaging brand imagery, assets, and content for distribution externally on billboards, newspapers and online platforms.
This is a remote position with a 20-hour weekly commitment. It offers the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated marketing team. The initial contract duration is 3 months, with the potential for extension and further hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create visual content for the RCR website, social media, and advertising campaigns using existing templates, design trends, software, etc.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms.
- Collaborate with other members of the social media and marketing team to brainstorm ideas and concepts for new projects.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and are optimized for online and offline distribution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new design techniques as appropriate.
- Create unique and engaging content, including replay tiles for websites and social media, memes and promo tiles for social media, website graphics, and advertising creatives (e.g., billboards, print media, flyers, etc.).
- Collaborate with our Digital Content Producers and wider content teams to create brand assets, including imagery, motion graphics, gifs, and video content, to amplify major promotions, station tactics, shows, podcasts, client activity, and evergreen content.
- Have your finger on the pulse of the latest design, digital and social media trends.
About You:
- 3 years plus experience in graphic design, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Keen attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality designs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Adherence to and comprehension of brand style guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate Will Preferably Have:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Canva and Figma.
- Mailchimp, Flodesk or similar email platforms.
