Did You Suffer During Covid?

Don't Let Them Get Away With It. Make Sure Your Story Is Heard!

The Royal Commission Covid Inquiry (Phase 2) is finally asking the hard questions about the: Vaccines. Mandates. Lockdowns. Testing. Tracing. Masks. If these impacted your life, now is your time to speak. Not just for you, but for all those who were silenced.

Yes! The Commissioners want to hear from people again. Phase Two covers new ground—especially vaccine safety, mandates, lockdowns, and public health measures like testing and masks.

So even if you’ve submitted before, this is your chance to go deeper, share a different part of your story, or reflect on the long-term consequences you’ve experienced.

Additionally, if you marked your entry as private during Phase One of the inquiry, it won’t be used, which just another another good reason to send it in again.

It’s easy to feel that way — especially after the last few years.

But here’s the truth:

The only guaranteed way to silence your voice is to not speak at all.

Every story added to this process makes it harder to ignore the truth. Every number boosts the pressure.

Public feedback is power — especially when it’s real, raw, and from the heart. This isn’t about putting your faith in the system.

It’s about showing up, being counted, and saying: “We were here. We matter. We won’t forget”.

Absolutely. Below you’ll find some gentle prompts and writing tips to help you put your story into words. Go to prompts here >>

Why Your Story Matters

  • Every voice adds weight. Numbers matter. The more feedback received, the more pressure the government feels to face the truth.
  • We’ve waited five long years for this chance. After all the censorship, gaslighting, and discrimination — this moment is ours.
  • We owe it to each other. So many were hurt — physically, emotionally, financially. The system failed us. Let’s make sure it never happens again.
  • Truth needs sunlight. Public pressure drives change. When stories are told, minds are changed — and justice becomes possible.

Tell It Your Way

This is your story. Your experience. Your right to be counted.
It can be as short as a single paragraph or many pages long. It can focus on just one part of your experience or many. And it can be written, spoken, or filmed.
Yes, the Royal Commission accepts multiple formats including; written, audio, and video stories. If writing feels too hard — just say it. Speak it. Record it.

Yes — 100%. You don’t need perfect grammar or fancy words. You just need your story, told your way.

And if writing feels too hard, you can record your story instead — in audio or video form. The Commission accepts all three formats: written, spoken, or filmed.

Absolutely. One sentence is enough. One paragraph is enough.

You don’t need to cover everything. Just focus on one moment, one issue, or one feeling that still sits with you.

Short stories can hit just as hard — especially when they’re honest and real.

If you’re planning to copy and paste your story into the text field on the submission form, there’s a 20,000-character limit—roughly 3,500 words or about six pages.

However, if your story is likely to be longer, you can save it as a Word document or PDF and upload it instead, as there’s no limit for file uploads.

That’s okay. You’re allowed to be. You’ve carried a lot — and many of us are still healing.

If this process feels confronting, take it slow. Use our prompts. Write a few lines. Come back to it later.

Remember: you’re not alone. Thousands of others are walking this path with you.

You can send your story directly through the Royal Commission’s website here:

You'll have two options:

Need to submit in a different format (like video or audio)?

No problem — just email your file to: [email protected]

You can only submit one file per story, so choose the format that best suits you.

Make sure you get it in before the deadline: Sunday, 27 April 2025
