I decided not to have the vaccine. Not (at first) because of any mistrust or political reasons, but because I have not taken any drugs (not even headache tablets) for most of my adult life and have not had any health problems. What I encountered from businesses, customers, friends and even family was being totally ostracized because of my choice. I am disgusted by the way the then government dealt with the issues, and were happy that people like me were suffering immense stress. I was lucky enough to keep my job, but I could have easily joined the thousands of skilled and necessary workers that were thrown out like the rubbish.
